Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an Advanced Rigger for an upcoming TAR in Old Ocean, TX. This non-exempt role reports to the Site Manager / Area Safety Manager.

DUTIES include assembling rigging to lift/move equipment, directing hoisting operations, and setting up hoisting equipment with strict safety oversight. Requirements include five years of experience in rigging, NCCER Advanced Gold Card or NCCCO Rigging 1 and 2, and successful health/drug screening and site orientation.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in rigging or equivalent role.
• Written pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Job site safety requirements as required by client.

Responsibilities

• Assembles rigging to lift and move equipment or material on construction projects.
• Directs hoisting operations and signals to ensure safety of workers.
• Sets up and braces hoisting equipment and guides crane movements.
