Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an Advanced Rigger for an upcoming TAR in Old Ocean, TX. This non-exempt role reports to the Site Manager and requires NCCER Advanced Gold Card or NCCCO Rigging certifications, plus pre-employment health and drug screening.

Assembles rigging to lift equipment, directs crane operators, and supports pre-down, TAR, and demobilization tasks over an approximate eight‑month assignment. Local candidates preferred; no per diem.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in rigging on construction projects.
• Must pass pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Safety orientation/test and site indoctrination.
• OSHA approved safety eyewear required.
• Client safety requirements and attire compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assembles rigging to lift and move equipment or material on construction projects.
• Direct equipment operators using signaling methods to ensure worker safety.
• Set up and rig hoisting equipment and perform sling repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with crew for pre-TAR and demobilization activities.
• Follow client procedures and safety standards at the site.
