Job summary

Allegiance Crane & Equipment LLC in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking full-time hard-working riggers, advanced riggers and drivers to join our team. You will safely operate tractor-trailers, secure loads, and apply proper rigging techniques to lift and move cranes and equipment.

Qualifications

• NCCCO or NCCER certification required.
• Class A CDL required to drive commercial vehicles.
• Minimum 2 years experience driving commercial vehicles.
• Minimum 1 year prior experience rigging cranes or similar equipment.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
• Must be able to read and speak English well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive tractor-trailer to transport cranes and equipment to job sites.
• Properly secure equipment to the trailer for preparation for hauling.
• Utilize proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of the load, including hand signals for the safe operation of the crane.
• Connects pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps.
• Dismantles, maintains and stores rigging equipment.
• Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability before engaging in hoisting and lifting.
