Job summary

Allegiance Crane & Equipment in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking full-time riggers and drivers to join our team. The role involves safely operating tractor-trailers to transport cranes, rigging loads, and ensuring secure hoisting with proper hand signals and equipment maintenance.

Applicants must hold NCCCO or NCCER certification, a valid Class A CDL, a minimum of 2 years driving commercial vehicles, and at least 1 year rigging cranes or similar equipment. OT, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• NCCCO or NCCER certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Class A CDL required to drive commercial vehicles.
• Minimum 2 years experience driving commercial vehicles.
• Minimum 1 year prior experience rigging cranes or similar equipment.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
• Professional communication with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive tractor-trailer to transport cranes and equipment to job sites.
• Properly secure equipment to the trailer for preparation for hauling.
• Utilize proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of the load, including hand signals for the safe operation of the crane.
• Connects pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps
• Dismantles, maintains and stores rigging equipment
• Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability before engaging in hoisting and lifting
