In this role, you will plan, prepare, and execute rigging activities with precision, ensuring equipment, materials, and loads are handled safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, a commitment to safe work practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform advanced rigging activities for lifting, moving, and positioning equipment and materials.
• Inspect rigging gear, hoisting equipment, and related tools before use to confirm safe operating condition.
• Determine load weights, center of gravity, lift points, and sling configurations to support safe lifts.
• Coordinate with operators, supervisors, and team members to ensure clear communication during lifts and moves.
• Set up, secure, and dismantle rigging systems according to project requirements and safety standards.
• Interpret lift plans, sketches, work instructions, and site requirements accurately.
• Identify hazards, apply controls, and follow established safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain organized work areas and ensure equipment is stored and handled appropriately.
• Document inspections, job activities, and any equipment or safety concerns as required.
• Support training and guidance for less experienced team members when needed.
