Advanced Research Associate - Quality Control Immunoassays

Join to apply for the Advanced Research Associate - Quality Control Immunoassays role at Bio-Techne.

This position involves performing immunoassay quality control testing, maintaining accurate documentation, and managing assay databases. The immunoassay products include Quantikine, DuoSet, Luminex, IVD kits, and related lines.

Essential Functions
  1. Perform ELISA assays to evaluate product quality.
  2. Analyze and record assay data accurately.
  3. Assist in transferring new products and technologies from development.
  4. Calibrate equipment and maintain calibration records.
  5. Prepare reagents following SOPs.
  6. Maintain and update assay databases.
  7. Review assay data and determine appropriate actions.
  8. Support validation activities and organize related materials.
  9. Perform troubleshooting activities under supervision.
  10. Assist in change control and SOP revisions.
  11. Train team members as needed.
  12. Compile reports and present data with proposed actions.
  13. Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
  14. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Specifications
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field with 2+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with up to 2 years of experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Data analysis skills for effective decision-making.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Technical knowledge of lab techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
