Schedule: Part-time; shifts will fall on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other weekend.

Shift: Nights

The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Orlando

• Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital with 1,368 beds.
• Serves as a major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean, and South America.
• Houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and cardiac catheterization labs in the country.
• Provides service to over 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients annually.

The role you’ll contribute:

The Advanced Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing and supervising respiratory clinical care to age-specific groups. Accepts shift supervisory responsibilities in the absence of a Clinical Specialist or Supervisor. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, delivering, and evaluating treatments to meet patient needs. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and all relevant regulations. Participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships. Key duties include managing respiratory equipment, reducing patient mortality and ICU stay through clinical skills, modifying care plans based on patient evaluation, and managing inhaled medical gases.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RESP REG).
• Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Current PALS Instructor certification for East Orlando.
