Access Health Care Physicians, LLC is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA-C) for primary care in Florida. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a compensation structure discussed at interview.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, provide comprehensive care, manage acute and chronic conditions, and maintain EMR documentation while meeting regulatory requirements.

Competenze

  • Graduate degree from an accredited APRN or PA program.
  • Active Florida APRN license or Florida PA license in good standing.
  • Current national board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) and DEA registration as required.

Mansioni

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physicals.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical examinations, and patient assessments
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based clinical guidelines
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and follow‑up recommendations
  • Obtain, document, and maintain accurate and complete patient medical records
  • Analyze diagnostic reports, test results, and examination findings to assess patient conditions
  • Provide preventive care services, wellness exams, and chronic disease management
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation, including ICD‑10 and CPT coding, for billing purposes
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with supervising and collaborating physicians and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain continuing medical education (CME) requirements and professional licensure
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and organizational compliance programs
  • Perform other duties assigned that are commensurate with professional medical services normally and customarily performed by an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA‑C)
  • 10 to 12 patients per day

All Advanced Practice Providers (APRNs and PA‑Cs) must remain compliant with all federal and state regulations and adhere to the policies and procedures of Access Health Care Physicians, LLC.

Qualifications
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Education & Experience
  • Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Previous experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, or outpatient clinical practice preferred
  • New graduates with strong clinical training may be considered
Certificates & Licenses
  • Active Florida APRN license or Florida Physician Assistant license in good standing
  • Current national board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA, as applicable)
  • Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority, as required
  • Current BLS certification preferred

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, legal documents, and reports
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, regulatory agencies, and healthcare professionals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to define problems, collect and evaluate data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to make sound clinical decisions in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions and clinical information
  • Mathematical proficiency related to prescribing medications and calculating dosages
Computer Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems
  • Ability to accurately document patient encounters and maintain electronic health records
Work Environment
  • Moderate noise level
  • Fast‑paced and busy clinical setting
  • Frequent interaction with patients, families, providers, and staff members
Physical Demands
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
