Mercy is seeking an Advanced Radiologic Technologist who will perform diagnostic imaging to support patient care. The role requires proficiency with imaging equipment, commitment to patient safety, and precise documentation.
You will work closely with the radiology team to ensure high-quality images, accurate records, and clear communication with patients and clinicians in a fast-paced environment.
The Advanced Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, upholding high-quality imaging standards, and maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures and findings. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program
Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R)); Basic Life Support (BLS).
