Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a seasoned program manager in Redmond to advance the development and delivery of cutting‑edge aerospace systems. You will lead cross‑functional teams, drive cost estimates, schedule milestones and manage customer relationships in a highly regulated environment.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the role requires a technical degree, 5+ years in aerospace, PMP certification, and the ability to obtain U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years in aerospace or highly regulated industries.
  • PMP certification or equivalent program management credential.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development teams in a new product development environment.
  • Ensure project performance and execution.
  • Manage customer relationships and expectations.
  • Develop and manage schedules and milestones.
  • Understand technology used across programs.
  • Develop program and project cost estimates.
  • Baseline development and metric reporting.
  • Conduct variance analysis and manage risks/opportunities.
  • Manage supplier relationships; travel up to 10%.
  • Report to the Director of Engineering.

In this role, you will impact the Aerospace business by advancing the development and delivery of cutting‑edge aerospace systems and components, enhancing product performance and customer satisfaction through effective project leadership and cross‑functional collaboration.

Work Schedule: M-F (3/2 hybrid after 90 days)

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • 5+ years in a related field; such as aerospace, medical device or other highly regulated industries
  • 2+ years' experience using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Experience leading hardware development teams in an engineering environment
  • PMP certification
  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance due to the compliance with the U.S. export control laws and regulations.

The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or an individual who has protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
