Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advance Project Engineer to lead a software team responsible for the performance of multiple parallel aerospace projects. You will partner with program managers, staffing, and cost/schedule coordination, driving optimization across hardware and embedded software teams within the Software Center of Excellence.
You will influence project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communications while advancing software practices across the enterprise.
As an Advance Project Engineer, you will be the leader of a software team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance for multiple parallel projects, working closely with Project Engineers from other groups and the Program Managers. You will partner with the technical resource managers, assist with staffing, and be the primary focal for program cost, schedule, and technical issue coordination and escalation. You will lead prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive overall program performance. You will work with the team that brings the electronics hardware up and provides the low-level embedded software to the application team. Your work will extend to every product in the entire electronics world of aerospace by joining our Software Center of Excellence Organization.
