Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Technician III, Production Technical Operations – Manufacturing Associate II to operate and maintain highly automated equipment for contact lens manufacturing. You will handle complex technical tasks, monitor quality, maintain production records, and ensure compliance with GxP and SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Fluent reading, writing, and communication in English.
• Degree in Engineering/Science/IT or Technical Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot highly automated manufacturing equipment.
• Set up equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Monitor quality, collect data, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate resources to meet production plans and improve flow.
• Maintain daily production records and CPM metrics.
• Adhere to GxP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve downtime and implement improvements.
• Participate in root-cause analysis to drive improvements.
