Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter seasonal roles in the Product Sales & Services team. You will facilitate sales of resort attractions and services, process payments and manage customer records using a POS system, and maintain knowledge of products and policies to assist guests effectively.

This position offers seasonal work for Winter 2026/2027, with pay range noted and opportunities for training and employee perks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or ticket sales preferred.
• Flexibility to work indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements.
• Fluent English communication required.
• Able to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Able to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide information and facilitate the sale of resort attractions and services.
• Use POS system to manage customer profiles, discounts, payments, exchanges and receipts.
• Perform POS audits daily and at end of shift.
• Communicate professionally by phone, email, and in person with guests and travel partners.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on resort products, policies, and operations to meet guest needs.

Job Specifications

Starting Wage: $22.00/hr - $26.88/hr

Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027

Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Provide information and facilitate the sale of resort attractions and services including fulfillment and delivery
• Utilize POS system to create or update customer profile records, process discounts and payments, administer exchanges and returns, provide change and receipts
• Complete POS audits daily and at the end of shift
• Communicate professionally by phone, email, and in person with travel partners, properties, tour operations corporate visitors, guests, and other groups
• Maintain up to date knowledge on resort products, policies, and operations to meet the needs of guests, coordinating with other departments as necessary
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized workstation
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Experience working in customer service or ticket sales preferred
• Flexibility to work both inside and outside with exposure to the elements
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs

The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $26.88/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
