Job summary

Vail Resorts in the Colorado mountains is hiring for winter seasonal roles on our Product Sales team. You will help guests purchase lift passes, lessons, and services, using a POS system and delivering friendly, informative service.

The position offers hourly wages from $22.00 to $26.88, with full-time hours available, and seasonal employment for 2026/2027. Benefits include passes, discounts, retirement plan, training, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in customer service or ticket sales preferred.
  • Fluent English communication and flexible scheduling are required.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide information and facilitate the sale of resort attractions and services.
  • Use POS system to create/update customer profiles, apply discounts, process payments, and issue receipts.
  • Perform daily POS audits and end-of-shift checks.
  • Communicate professionally by phone, email, and in person with guests and partners.
  • Maintain knowledge of resort products, policies, and operations.
  • Keep workstation clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide information and facilitate the sale of resort attractions and services including fulfillment and delivery
  • Utilize POS system to create or update customer profile records, process discounts and payments, administer exchanges and returns, provide change and receipts
  • Complete POS audits daily and at the end of shift
  • Communicate professionally by phone, email, and in person with travel partners, properties, tour operations corporate visitors, guests, and other groups
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on resort products, policies, and operations to meet the needs of guests, coordinating with other departments as necessary
  • Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized workstation
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Experience working in customer service or ticket sales preferred
  • Flexibility to work both inside and outside with exposure to the elements
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs

The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $26.88/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
