Job summary

Lannett Company in Seymour, IN is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support 24/7 plant operations. You will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment, install or modify systems, and document activities with SOPs in mind.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, an associate degree in a relevant field, and familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and basic Office tools.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience is required.
• Associate Degree in Industrial Mechanics Technology, Instrumentation or Electronics degree is desirable.
• A license and/or a certification course from a recognized source in a relevant field is desired.
• Training in the form of an apprentice program with on the job training would also be taken under consideration.
• Pharmaceutical experience or GMP experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on manufacturing/packaging related equipment.
• Maintain documentation of all maintenance activities. Perform all duties as needed for emergency and corrective repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on complex equipment and systems to keep in good working condition by following the SOPs.
• Assist with new installation or system modification for all equipment and mechanical systems.
• Takes initiative to improve their own skill and techniques.
• Participate in equipment modifications, rearrangements or small to medium projects.
