Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Patient Advanced Certified Medical Assistant to support primary care teams. You will work with providers to deliver safe, timely, and quality patient care in an outpatient setting.

Eligibility includes MA Clinic Academy training and progression toward Advanced MA certification, with emphasis on documentation, rooming, and patient experience improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to deliver safe, timely, effective, patient-centered care.
• Complete Advanced Standard Rooming with high performance metrics (AWV, med reconciliation, closing care gaps).
• Maintain proficiency with EHR systems and clinical documentation.
• Adapt to a fast-paced outpatient setting and engage with diverse patient populations.
