Job summary

Summit Brain, Spine and Orthopedics is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our neurosurgery team. The role includes clinic four days per week and surgical assistance one day per week, with a rotating call pool.

Benefits begin after 30 days of employment and a comprehensive compensation package is offered. The candidate will evaluate and manage patients, assist in neurosurgical procedures, and participate in pre-op and post-op education and planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• 2 years of experience in clinical settings.
• Current Utah licensure and board certification.
• Neurosurgery experience preferred; surgical assist helpful.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage new and established patients in the clinic.
• Assist in surgical procedures at affiliated facilities.
• Perform pre-op and post-op assessments and education.
• Review imaging, order diagnostics, and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons and advanced practitioners to coordinate care.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our neurosurgery team. This provider will see patients in clinic four days per week, assist in surgery one day a week, and help with a rotating call pool. The position comes with full benefits after 30 days of employment. Candidates must be highly motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow within a collaborative neurosurgical team.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• 2 Years of Experience
• Current Utah licensure and board certification
• Previous experience in neurosurgery or related field preferred
• Surgical assist experience is a plus but not required
