Astrya Global Medical Staffing is hiring a Surgical Nurse Practitioner (SNP) for a locum tenens assignment in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The role runs 13 weeks with extension potential, with a schedule of 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, 5 days a week, and pay at $135–$146 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in good standing for Wisconsin or eligible for relicensure.
• Current DEA registration and board certification as required by the facility.
• Maintains BLS and ACLS certifications; compliance with clinical policies.

Responsabilités

• Examine patients, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Support surgeons as NP/PA in cardiothoracic procedures; assist as needed as first assistant.
• Document progress and surgical care in the Epic EMR system.
• Perform endoscopic vein harvests and arterial harvests as applicable.
• Place/remove chest tubes, central lines, and arterial lines; manage tubes during care.
• Intubate/extubate as required; participate in robotic-assisted cases when available.
• Maintain safety, adherence to policies, and compliance throughout shifts.

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Surgical Nurse Practitioner (SNP) for a locum tenens assignment in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Surgical Nurse Practitioner (SNP):

• Work Monday-Friday, 8a-5p with potential call rotation in a cardiothoracic surgery department
• Examine patients, formulate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Perform technical, clinical, and surgical procedures as a NP/PA supporting surgeons, PA-Cs, and RNs
• Document patient progress and surgical care using Epic EMR system
• Perform endoscopic saphenous vein harvests and radial artery harvests
• Place and remove chest tubes and catheters
• Intubate and extubate patients as required
• Place and remove central lines and arterial lines
• Serve as a first-assist in CVOR specific to cardiac surgery
• Utilize robotic surgical equipment; robotic lung experience is a plus but not required
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Maintain valid state licensure and active DEA registration
• Maintain board certification as required
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
