Halifax Health in Florida is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Physician Assistant for Express Care. The role works within a collaborative health team, performing history and physical examinations, assessing patient needs, and delivering appropriate treatment under Florida's practice guidelines.
You will provide nursing care and health teaching to adult and geriatric patients in an observation setting, following a formal collaborative practice agreement.
The Nurse Practitioner is an independent health care provider who, working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary health team, is responsible for patient evaluation and care through the performance of pertinent history and physical examination, assessment of needs and delivery of appropriate treatment. Provides nursing care and health teaching to an assigned group of adult and geriatric patients in an observation setting. All duties and responsibilities are accomplished according to the collaborative practice agreement required by the State of Florida.
