Job summary

ALCOVY NEUROLOGY, PC in Loganville, GA seeks an advanced practice provider to join our neurology team. You will evaluate and manage neurology patients, diagnose disorders, prescribe medications, and educate patients and caregivers.

The ideal candidate is patient-centered and organized with a Georgia APRN/PA license, DEA registration, and BLS. Neurology or infusion therapy experience and Athenahealth EMR familiarity are a plus. Monday–Friday, competitive compensation, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Required: Georgia APRN/PA license and DEA registration.
• Certification as NP or PA is required.
• Current BLS certification and solid clinical judgment.
• Strong communication and EMR proficiency are essential.
• Preferred: neurology or infusion therapy experience.
• Preferred: Botox injection experience and Athenahealth EMR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage new and established neurology patients.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological disorders.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based plans.
• Perform approved in-office procedures (training provided).
• Participate in infusion therapy management, including biologics.
• Coordinate care with referring physicians and specialists.
• Complete accurate, timely medical documentation.
• Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses and plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure quality care.

The APP provides comprehensive neurological care under the supervision of a board-certified neurologist. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, diagnosing and managing neurological conditions, prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, developing treatment plans, and educating patients and caregivers.
