Alcovy-Neurology,-P in Georgia seeks a Neurology APRN/PA to evaluate and manage neurology patients in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will diagnose disorders, order tests, and develop treatment plans, while educating patients and caregivers.

The ideal candidate will hold a Georgia APRN or PA license, NP/PA certification, DEA registration, and BLS. Strong EMR skills and excellent clinical judgment are essential for delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia APRN or PA license is required.
• NP or PA certification is required.
• DEA registration is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills are essential.
• Strong computer and EMR skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage new and established neurology patients.
• Diagnose and treat a wide variety of neurological disorders.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and diagnostic testing.
• Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Perform approved in-office procedures (training provided as appropriate).
• Participate in infusion therapy management, including biologic therapies.
• Coordinate care with referring physicians and specialists.
• Complete accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient care.

The APP provides comprehensive neurological care under the supervision of a board-certified neurologist. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, diagnosing and managing neurological conditions, prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, developing treatment plans, and educating patients and caregivers.
