Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for Women’s Health in Billings, MT. This role focuses on OB/GYN care in a clinic setting, including annual visits and care coordination with our women’s health network.

• Active, unobstructed Montana or Colorado medical license.
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA.
• BLS Certification.
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health credentialing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in clinic and obstetric/gynecologic settings.
• Treat OB/GYN patients at the top of your license.
• Schedule roughly 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri during standard clinic hours.
• No after-hours on‑call, inpatient work, or surgeries in this role.
• MFM clinic onsite and available for telehealth consults 24/7.

When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” This APP will provide care in clinic, supporting both obstetric and gynecologic patients. Majority of time will be spent providing annual well-woman visits, establishing care and follow up visits, and limited urgent care. The APP may place IUDs, Nexplanon (if certified), routine in-clinic procedures, and assist with surgical preparation activities.

About This Role

As an Advanced Practice Provider with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

• You will join a newly forming obstetrics & gynecology practice in Billings, Montana, employed by the Intermountain Medical Group
• You will work at the top of your license treating OB and GYN patients
• Schedule will generally be Monday – Friday during regular clinic hours
• There are no expectations for you to participate in any after-hours call, inpatient care, or surgeries in this role
• MFM clinic onsite and available 24/7 for telehealth consult
• You’ll become part of our women’s health network, connecting you to other women’s health providers across the Mountain West and locally to certified nurse midwives, gynecologic oncologists, urogynecologists, and allied health providers like pelvic floor physical therapists
