Job summary

Texas Oncology San Antonio is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Medical Oncology/Hematology team. This full-time on-site role is based at Westover Hills, San Antonio, TX, with hours 8:30a-5:00p for three days weekly.

The APP will provide direct diagnostic and therapeutic care in collaboration with physicians, participate in tumor boards, and work within a busy oncology setting. A NSW/NP, PA, or CNS path with appropriate licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in collaboration with practice physicians.
• Engage in tumor boards, training, and cross-functional meetings.
• Proficient use of Electronic Health Records and adherence to policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care in outpatient/inpatient settings, including education and referrals.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate treatment.
• Document care and manage symptoms following Texas Oncology guidelines.
• Build relationships across the organization and with the local medical community.
