The Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC), a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center affiliated with UT Southwestern Medical Center, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Urologic Oncology team. This is a primarily outpatient role supporting patients with urologic malignancies across the continuum of cancer care. The APP will provide comprehensive patient evaluations, develop and implement treatment and symptom management plans, interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe therapies in collaboration with the oncology team, coordinate multidisciplinary care, provide patient and family education, and support patients throughout their cancer journey. Candidates with urology and/or oncology experience are preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
Monday-Friday with flexibility for four 10-hour shifts. This is a fully outpatient position with no operating room responsibilities. The role is primarily based at UT Southwestern with occasional support at the Frisco campus as needed.
One (1) or more years of urology experience preferred. Candidates with oncology, surgical, or related specialty experience will also be considered. New graduates are welcome to apply.
