Qualifications

  • Master's degree - Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification within specialty required upon hire
  • ACLS-BLS Tier 2 - Multisource required within 180 Days
  • Drug Enforcement Administration required upon hire
  • Valid Driver’s License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver’s license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment for those working in Complex Care for Seniors, Community Palliative Care and Hospice

Responsibilities

Job Description

Provides help with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations as part of a physician/nurse team in accordance with the designated specialty. Works in both inpatient and outpatient situations and can perform independently or as part of a treatment team. Serves as an educator, case manager, consultant to staff and multidisciplinary health care team.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree - Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in Pulmonology, Sleep or other specialty care, will consider new grads who have completed rotations in Pulmonology or other specialties that focus on acute care
Licenses/Certifications
  • Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification within specialty required upon hire

Physical Demands

Pay Range

Pay Range: $129,400 to $145,000 per year. The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Allina Health is committed to adhering with all applicable local, state and federal minimum wage requirements.
