Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a qualified APRN or Physician Assistant to join the Elkhorn Pediatrics team in Las Vegas, NV. You will perform medical history intake, examinations, and a range of pediatric services including well-child visits and immunizations.

  • Nurse Practitioner certification or PA certification.
  • Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II–V.
  • Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II–V.

  • 2 years working experience as a provider in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform medical history intake and physician examinations.
  • Provide pediatric services including sports physicals, ADHD/ADD management, and immunizations.
  • Treat childhood injuries and illnesses; monitor chronic diseases.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient care at Elkhorn Clinic - Pediatrics.

About This Role

As an Intermountain Health Provider you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. In this role you will perform a variety of duties such as medical history intake, physician examinations, sports physicals, ADHD/ADD management, circumcisions, well childcare and immunizations, treating childhood injuries and illnesses, and monitoring chronic diseases.

You will practice at Elkhorn Clinic - Pediatrics in Las Vegas, NV

  • -2 years working experience as a provider in a clinic setting, required.

What You’ll Bring
  • Current state license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • OR
  • Current state license as a Physician Assistant
  • Current certification from a recognized certifying organization such as the National Commission of Physician Assistants.
  • AND
  • Applicable experience as defined by position leadership
  • AND
  • Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.
  • Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
  • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$57.33 - $88.47
