Job summary

WellSpan Health in Lewisburg, PA is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for pediatric hospitalist duties in Evangelical Community Hospital. This part-time, day-shift role supports an 18-bed newborn nursery and includes rounds, admissions, and family-centered care.

Team-based care with physicians and nurses is essential as you attend deliveries and perform neonatal procedures. Benefits include on-site call house, PTO, and Wellspan wellness programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide newborn care including rounds, admissions, assessments and discharge education.

• Perform newborn procedures such as circumcisions with a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and hospital teams to deliver neonatal care.

What You’ll Champion:

• Join a collaborative neonatal care team as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Physician Assistant (PA) supporting an 18-bed newborn nursery at Evangelical Community Hospital.
• Enjoy exceptional work-life balance with 24-hour shifts averaging approximately two shifts per pay period.
• Provide comprehensive newborn care, including newborn rounding, admissions, patient assessments, care planning, triage, discharge education, and family-centered care.
• Attend deliveries and play an integral role in the care of healthy newborns from birth through discharge.
• Perform clinical procedures, including newborn circumcisions, while working alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team.
• Practice in a community hospital that welcomes approximately 650 births annually, offering meaningful clinical experience and continuity of care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital teams to deliver evidence-based neonatal care.
