Job summary

Intermountain Health is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider for Inpatient Palliative Care in a telehealth role. Training occurs in person at a Utah hospital, after which you will work remotely.

The position features evening and weekend shifts (46 hours/week), 7 days on/7 days off, and coverage across Intermountain Hospitals. APRN/PA-C degree and 2+ years in specialty medicine required, with Utah, Montana, Colorado, and Idaho licenses or ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program.
• Must have 2+ years of experience in specialty medicine, palliative care preferred.
• Active, unobstructed Utah, Montana, Colorado, and Idaho medical licenses, or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide telehealth inpatient palliative care coverage for all Intermountain Hospitals, enterprise wide.
• Collaborate with inpatient teams to ensure quality patient experience.
• Deliver care via telehealth with focus on quality of life and symptom relief.
• Support families and caregivers as part of a team-based approach to care.

About this role:

As an Advanced Practice Provider in Inpatient Palliative Care, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

• Training will be done in person at local Utah Hospital, then you will practice remote
• Your hours will be evenings (4p-10P) and weekends/holidays (10a-6p) (46 hours per week)
• 7 days on and 7 days off
• You will provide telehealth inpatient palliative care coverage for all Intermountain Hospitals, enterprise wide

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
