Job summary

FOX VALLEY ORTHOPEDICS is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA) to work closely with orthopedic physicians in our clinic. You will provide medical services, support patient care, and help maintain professional rapport with patients and peers.

Key duties include dictating findings, assisting with prescriptions and test results, and participating in on-call duties and safety/compliance activities. This role requires active licensure and clinic-based practice within our orthopedic team.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services and clinic-based care to patients.
• Treat existing patients and manage ongoing care.

• Accurately dictate medical findings in a timely manner.
• Assist physicians with prescriptions and patient test results.
• Participate in on-call duties as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulatory requirements (OSHA).
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
• Attend department meetings and mandatory education.
• Follow hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Position Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider (PA) will work closely with our Orthopedic Physicians to provide treatment for orthopedic injuries and ailments. This position will support treatment within our Orthopedic Clinics.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Efficient use of information systems, data processing systems, telecommunication devices, office equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Essential Job Functions

• Provides medical services and clinical education to patients in a clinic setting.
• Provides medical care and treatment to existing patients.
• Promotes the professional practice of the clinic by maintaining and improving rapport with peers, patients, and the medical community.
• Responsible for dictating medical findings on patients in a timely and concise manner.
• Assists physicians in writing new prescriptions and prescription refills Communicates test results to patients in a timely manner Assists physicians in the completion of Worker's Compensation forms, dictation of attorney letters, and other responsibilities as requested.
• Assists with on-call duties as needed.
• Comply with safety activities, policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements such as OSHA.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Attend and participate in department meetings.
• Attend mandatory educational programs.
• Follow established guidelines as stated in hospital and departmental policies and procedures
