Job summary

CIVIE is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to support the radiology team at Florida Coast Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, FL.

This on-site position offers a Monday–Friday, four-hour daily schedule in a hospital setting. As part of the radiology team, the APP will assist with imaging procedures, perform designated procedures, obtain histories, obtain consent, and ensure patient safety and compliance with protocols.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in Florida with current credentials.
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current, unrestricted DEA registration.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Previous radiology, imaging, or procedural medicine experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently while following physician direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and/or perform designated radiology and imaging procedures within scope of practice.
• Perform fluoroscopy-related procedures.
• Perform FNA and other image-guided procedures as appropriate.
• Conduct swallow screens/studies and obtain relevant histories.
• Obtain informed consent and explain procedures to patients when applicable.
• Monitor patients during and after procedures.
• Document patient encounters, procedures, findings, and follow-up.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide a professional, compassionate patient experience.

Overview

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide onsite clinical support for our client, Florida CoastMedical Center, inPortSt. Lucie, Florida.

This is an excellent opportunity for an APP looking for a consistent Monday-Friday, part-time schedule in a hospital environment. The APP will work closely with the radiology team and physicians to support a varietyof diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assistwith and/or perform designated radiology and imaging-related procedures within scope of practice

• Perform fine needle aspirations (FNA) andotherimage-guided procedures as appropriate
• Conduct andassistwith swallow screens/studies
