Job summary

Radiology Partners, Inc. is seeking a Physician Assistant to serve as a physician extender for minor procedures in a fast-paced environment, Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM. The role includes direct patient care, inpatient consults and rounding, exams, histories, and education of patients.

Highlights include a $10,000 sign-on bonus, no call or weekends/holidays/overtime, and six weeks of PTO with a streamlined approval process, along with a competitive compensation package and a broad benefits program.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physician Assistant.
• Graduate of an AMA accredited program.
• Certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants.
• Two years Physician Assistant experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care, including inpatient consults and rounding.
• Perform physical examinations, determine histories, diagnose and treat illness.
• Order and interpret labs and radiographic studies.
• Perform or assist procedures such as US paracentesis, thoracentesis, CT biopsy and fluoro.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes.
• Educate patients on their medical care.
• Field calls from patients and physicians to identify concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM position in a fast-paced environment
• Primary role is to be physician extender/substitute for minor procedures
• Assist in the performance of direct patient care services, including inpatient consults and inpatient rounding
• Perform physical examinations, determine medical histories, diagnose, and treat illnesses and/or injuries
• Order and interpret laboratory and radiographic studies
• Perform or assist procedures such as US paracentesis, thoracentesis, CT bx, and fluoro
• Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes
• Perform history and physical examinations of radiology patients
• Field phone calls from patients, referring physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals regarding patients to identify potential areas of concern in the medical management of the patients
• Educate patients on their medical care
• Other duties as assigned

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
