Job summary

Piedmont Health Services, Inc. is seeking Advanced Practice Providers (NP/PA) or Physicians in Internal or Family Medicine to deliver comprehensive ambulatory care at the Burlington Community Health Center.

The role supports full- or part-time schedules in a multi-site system serving pediatric to geriatric populations. Providers will diagnose and treat illnesses, manage chronic conditions, perform preventive care, and participate in quality improvement, with supervision from a lead provider.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and be certified as appropriate.
• North Carolina license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is required and must be current.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and must be current.

Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory primary care including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses for all ages.
• See scheduled patients, walk-ins, and add-ons, and provide telephone consultations as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and perform administrative tasks related to medical care within the scope of privileges.
