Job summary

EPIC Health in Houston, TX is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for outpatient primary care who can serve Mandarin- or Spanish-speaking patients. You will join a collaborative team focused on prevention, chronic disease management, and long-term wellness.

Requirements include an accredited NP/PA degree, an active Texas license (NP or PA-C), DEA license, and national certification. Bilingual Mandarin or Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited NP/PA program.
• Active Texas license as NP or PA-C.
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start.
• National certification applicable to role.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in outpatient primary care.
• Conduct wellness visits, preventive screenings, chronic disease management, and acute care visits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging.
• Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, nutrition, and preventive health.
• Support patients in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
• Promote continuity of care through proactive follow-up and patient engagement.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Coordinate referrals, diagnostics, and specialty follow-up care.
• Participate in a team-based, integrated care model focused on quality outcomes.

Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $140,000.00 Annually

Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Primary Care (Mandarin or Spanish Speaking)

Location: Houston, TX – West Houston / Westchase area
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Outpatient | Monday–Friday
Compensation: $100,000–$140,000 annually based on experience + up to $9,000 in quarterly performance bonuses
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 total – $5,000 paid after 30 days of employment and $5,000 paid after 6 months of employment

What You’ll Do

Comprehensive Primary Care

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system.
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Active Texas license as one of the following:
  • Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start.
• National certification applicable to role/specialty.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered and culturally competent care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin or Spanish.
• Experience in Family Medicine, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics.
• Experience working in diverse or underserved communities.
• Value-based care or population health experience is a plus.
