Job summary

Catalyst Physician Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team in Plano, TX. You will provide direct patient care and collaborate with on-site support teams to deliver comprehensive services.

You will manage a mix of acute and chronic conditions, order tests, and educate patients on prevention while operating within an EMR-driven workflow. Texas licensure is required, and outpatient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Texas license and certification.
• Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program.
• Outpatient clinic experience as NP/PA.
• Proficient with EMR systems.
• Strong initiative and judgment.
• Athena EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in family medicine.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Perform annual physical exams.
• Educate patients on prevention and healthy lifestyles.
• Document encounters in the Athena EMR.

You will see approx. 15-25 patients per day and have in office support as well as Catalyst support teams including 24/7 care team support, referral coordinators and more.
