Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
• Participate in efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care.
• Accept patient referrals; act as admitting, attending, or consulting physician as needed.
• Participate in academic programs such as medical education and research.
• Provide documentation meeting insurance requirements; manage denials.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations, including on-call schedules.
