Florida Heart & Vascular is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiovascular team serving Broward County. The role spans outpatient clinic and hospital settings with exposure to electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, imaging, diagnostics, and preventive cardiology.

Mentorship and hands-on experience are emphasized, with opportunities for long-term professional growth within the CVAUSA network and a collaborative, physician-led practice environment.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Florida license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Cardiology experience preferred but not required
• New NP/PA graduates encouraged to apply
• Strong interest in cardiovascular medicine
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in clinic and hospital settings
• Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, hospital rounding, and cardiovascular consults
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing including EKGs, labs, imaging, and stress testing
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising cardiologists
• Manage medications and provide patient and family education
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and referring providers
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

Florida Heart & Vascular is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiovascular team serving Broward County.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work across both outpatient clinic and hospital settings while gaining exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular subspecialties, including electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, diagnostics, and preventive cardiology. Providers work alongside experienced cardiologists and APPs in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday primary schedule
