The role blends outpatient and inpatient care across subspecialties, with mentorship and professional growth within the CVAUSA network.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in clinic and hospital settings.
• Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, hospital rounds, and cardiovascular consults.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, laboratory studies, cardiac imaging, and stress testing.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising cardiologists.
• Manage medications and provide patient and family education.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and referring providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Cardiology & Electrophysiology

Florida Heart & Vascular is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiovascular team serving Broward County.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work across both outpatient clinic and hospital settings while gaining exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular subspecialties, including electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, diagnostics, and preventive cardiology. Providers work alongside experienced cardiologists and APPs in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.

Schedule
