Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to deliver evidence-based primary and family care in a clinic setting in Brooklyn, NY, with regular onsite support at Norwich, CT. The role offers 32.5 hours weekly, full-time pay range, and both in-person and virtual visits from the clinic.

Qualifications include a Master's in NP/PA and active state licensure; BP-friendly, multi-state licensure; vaccines administration; DOT and BLS; EPIC EHR experience; bilingual may be required

Qualifications

• One year NP experience preferred; new graduates considered
• Active, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license
• Obtain and maintain multi-state licensure
• Ability to provide holistic, evidence-based care including pregnancy prevention and STI prevention counseling
• Order/administer vaccines and injections (COVID-19, influenza, TB testing, Depo-Provera)
• DOT certification within 30 days of employment
• Ability to pass a respirator FIT test
• Physical presence at assigned clinic required

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Provide both in-person and virtual visits (from the clinic) to support positive patient health outcomes
• Perform diagnostic testing, preventive counseling, and coordination of care with other health professionals
• Engage patients in wellness services, chronic disease management, and preventive health screenings
• Complete essential clinic operations including inventory management, clinic opening/closing, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection
• Support a safe and efficient care environment through routine examinations and timely patient appointment management
