Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. in Plano, TX, seeks a Physician Assistant or APRN to deliver comprehensive healthcare in designated primary or specialty areas, including diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals.

You will act as a clinical resource, role model, and trainer for practitioners and students to ensure high-quality patient care. The role requires 3+ years of clinical experience (5+ preferred), current PA/NP licensure with ACLS/BLS, and strong communication and leadership skills

Qualifications

  • Physician Assistant or APRN with a master's degree in nursing or equivalent education and experience.
  • 3+ years clinical experience in a similar role; 5+ years preferred.
  • Current licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, including ACLS and BLS.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, leadership abilities, and knowledge of healthcare policies.
  • Ability to provide patient-centered care, work collaboratively, and stay updated on clinical advancements.

Responsibilities

  • Performs clinical assessments, physical exams, and makes medical decisions based on protocols.
  • Documents patient histories, findings, and treatments accurately.
  • Coordinates patient care, including follow-ups, referrals, and education.
  • Supervises and trains APP students and healthcare trainees.
  • Maintains current certifications, licensure, and compliance with regulations.
  • Participates in quality improvement, education, and professional development activities.
  • Collaborates with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and promote patient-centered care.
  • Contributes to departmental goals, policies, and ongoing clinical research initiatives.
