Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider II for Burns to deliver comprehensive care in designated burn services. The role includes patient assessment, treatment planning, education, and coordination with physicians to optimize outcomes.

The APP will mentor students, contribute to education programs, and participate in quality improvement and research while staying current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate education: PA (Bachelor's or higher) or MSN in nursing.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of APP clinical experience.
• Current licensure and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) required.
• Strong clinical, leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor students and work in a multidisciplinary team.

Role Overview: The Advanced Practice Provider II- Burns is responsible for delivering comprehensive healthcare in designated primary or specialty areas, including patient diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals. They serve as a clinical resource, role model, and educator for practitioners and students, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical activities such as history taking, physical exams, assessments, and ordering tests.
• Make medical decisions and develop care plans aligned with protocols and consults.
• Document findings accurately and manage patient follow-up and education.
• Collaborate with physicians, referring patients as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate APP students and contribute to education programs.
• Stay current with advancements in the field through ongoing learning and professional development.
• Participate in quality improvement, research, and committee activities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and accreditation standards.

Qualifications & Skills
