Title: Advanced Practice Provider I - Benign Hematology Job Type: Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Department of Medicine - Leukemia Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America)

Summary: Join Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients facing cancer and complex illnesses. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care across the continuum of treatment, managing both acute and chronic phases of illness. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose and manage complex medical conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop individualized treatment plans, and prescribe medications as appropriate. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will provide ongoing clinical management, education, and support to patients and their families throughout every stage of their healthcare journey. This position offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license while contributing to innovative, compassionate, and evidence-based cancer care at a nationally recognized comprehensive cancer center.

Starting annual salary of $121,038 which includes a full comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

Nurse Practitioner Educational Path:

  • 1. License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York; and 2. Current New York State Nurse Practitioner certification; and 3. Certification or eligibility for certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or other national certifying body recognized by Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA); and 4. Master's or higher-level degree in Nursing.

NOTE: As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or other national certifying body recognized by Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) within nine (9) months of their appointment to this title as required by Medicare.

OR Physician Assistant Educational Path:

  • 1. License to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of New York; and 2. Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission for Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA) or other national certifying body recognized by the New York State Education Department; and 3. Bachelor's or higher-level degree in Physician Assistant Studies; or 4. Bachelor's or higher-level degree and completion of a Physician Assistant Certificate Program recognized by the New York State Education Department.

AND NOTE:

  • 1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.
  • 2. Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
