Job summary

UNC Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Hospitalists Optimize Clinic in Raleigh, NC. The APP will work per diem within a physician-led team, delivering high-quality care and collaborating across disciplines.

The role requires completing an accredited APP program, NC licensure, and DEA; no prior experience is required. Onsite work and regular day shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in NC with board certification if required; DEA.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient health history and perform physical assessment.
• Develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Prescribe or order evidence-based pharmacological therapies.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and follow-up.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to optimize care.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement and policy adherence.
