Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) for our Head & Neck surgery team. You will perform pre-operative assessments, assist in procedures and surgeries, and provide follow-up outpatient care in a multidisciplinary, evidence-based setting.

You will collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and fellows to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a Magnet-recognized environment. NY licensure and AP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduates from an accredited PA program with NCCPA certification.
• Active NY State license or eligibility for licensure for NY, RN/NP track.
• Master's degree in nursing and prescriptive authority.
• ACLS/BLS certifications are required.
• RNFA and national NP certifications are preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of APP experience in a surgical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-operative assessments and contribute to peri-operative care.
• Assist in office procedures and surgeries on Head & Neck patients.
• Provide follow-up care in outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Support evidence-based, patient-centered care within a Magnet-recognized institution.

Role Overview

In this dynamic role, you'll play a crucial role on our Head & Neck surgical service, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver expert, compassionate care in the peri-operative setting. In this role you will deliver comprehensive care to Head and Neck patients in both the outpatient clinic and operating room. This includes pre-operative assessments, assisting in office procedures and surgeries, and providing follow up care in the outpatient setting.At MSK, we don't just treat cancer-we change lives. Key Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PA Program


• NCCPA certification


• Active New York State license or be qualified for state licensure

• 2+ years experience as an APP, in a surgical specialty preferred

• Location: Main Hospital Campus, 1275 York Ave, New York, NY


• Hours: 4 -10-hour shifts per week, M-F


• Reports to: Manager, APP

Pay Range

$155,500 - $197,400/annually

Pay Range: $136,400.00 - $225,100.00 FSLA Status: Exempt
