Job summary

McFarland Clinic in Ames, Iowa is seeking an Advanced-Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to work in our Emergency Medicine department on a full-time or part-time basis. The APP will deliver high-quality urgent care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Previous APP experience preferred; candidates must have graduated from an accredited program and be licensed or eligible for Iowa licensure, with board certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited program for APPs.
• Licensed or eligible for Iowa licensure.
• Board certified or eligible in applicable APP discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in the Emergency Medicine department.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to manage patient flow.
• Participate in precepting and teamwork within a multi-specialty clinic.

Previous APP experience preferred. Graduation from an accredited program, currently licensed or have the ability to be licensed in the State of Iowa, currently certified or have the ability to be certified by the appropriate governing body.
