Job summary

Veterans Health Administration seeks an experienced clinician to provide first-line management in the Surgical ICU, focusing on critically ill cardiovascular and postoperative cardiac patients. Proficiency with invasive monitoring, ventilation, vasoactive drips, and circulatory support devices is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competency in first-line management of critically ill cardiovascular/surgical ICU patients—immediate postop cardiac surgery, ACS, heart failure, arrhythmias, hemodynamic instability.
• Proficiency with invasive hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, vasoactive/inotropic drips, and mechanical circulatory support devices (IABP, Impella).
