Zusammenfassung

The ICE Health Service Corps seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide direct detainee care, including evaluations and minor procedures, within an IHSC setting in Eloy, AZ. You will coordinate referrals, ensure policy compliance, and mentor APPs while reporting to the Supervisory APP or Clinical Director as applicable.

Applicants must hold licensure and certification, be a USPHS officer or CAD candidate, and comply with all agency requirements.

Aufgaben

• Performs comprehensive history and physical evaluations, behavioral health care, and minor outpatient surgical procedures for detainees.
• Coordinates health care needs of detainees including referrals to off-site consultants.
• Interprets diagnostic and laboratory results.
• Interprets Tuberculin skin tests (TSTs) and diagnostic studies and manages DOT for TB treatment.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and confidentiality of medical records.
• Attends on-site, regional, and national meetings and mentors APP onboarding and training.
• Provides fact-based care and adheres to IHSC policies and scope of practice.
