Job summary

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) seeks a Supervisory Advanced Practice Provider to oversee Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners at IHSC facilities. The role includes training, scheduling, and direct detainee care, with oversight of onboarding, credentialing, and APP performance.

Requires licensure, national certification, and 6+ years of clinical experience. This position is restricted to USPHS officers; CAD candidates are not eligible.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Physician Assistant state license and NCCPA certification.
• Nurse Practitioner licensure in the appropriate state (if applicable).
• Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited PA program and PA-C certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise federal Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) including PAs and NPs.
• Oversee APP onboarding, training, peer review, and credentialing processes.
• Coordinate APP work schedules and lead on-site meetings and training.
• Provide direct detainee care and perform evaluations and prescriptive activities as required.
