Job summary

Intermountain Health in Riverton, Utah, seeks a Certified Nurse Midwife to join Southridge OB/GYN. The CNM will provide clinic care, attend births, and round with obstetric teams in hospital settings.

We support women’s childbirth decisions, emphasize wellness, and offer a collaborative practice with a strong credentialing process. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits and 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• CNM degree from an accredited program and Utah licensure as CNM.
• Board certification as a Nurse Midwife with full prescriptive authority/DEA.
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health credentialing process.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide CNM care in clinic and attend births, including rounds with mother/baby and antepartum patients.
• Work in a collaborative model with OBGYN physicians and other CNMs.
• Admit, care for, and discharge patients from inpatient care as needed.

Education

Current Utah state license as a Certified Nurse Midwife

Certified Nurse Midwife (Obstetrics/Gynecology)

As a Certified Nurse Midwife with Intermountain Health, you will join Southridge OB/GYN, supporting patients in our Riverton, Utah location. We are a group practice of 6 CNM's, 2 WHNP, 4 OBGYN Physicians, & 3 OB Hospitalist. Our midwives provide comprehensive health care for women, with a particular emphasis on wellness and patient choice. We support women in their childbirth decisions, whether it’s an unmedicated birth or epidural anesthesia.

The CNM will provide care in clinic, attend births, and round with mother/baby and antepartum patients in hospital. Our CNMs work at the top of their scope of licensure, admitting, caring for, and discharging patients from inpatient care. As a group practice sharing patients, we work in a highly collaborative model, consulting and collaborating with one another on a consistent basis.

This is a full time position and will be fully benefits eligible. Schedule will include outpatient clinic, and rotating call taken in 24 hour shifts.

Candidates with CNM experience and CNM New Graduates will be considered.
