Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Southridge OB/GYN in Riverton, Utah is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in clinic and to attend births. You will work in a collaborative, high‑performing group with CNMs, WHNPs, and physicians.

The ideal candidate will hold a CNM degree, current Utah license, board certification, full prescriptive authority and DEA, and be able to complete credentialing. The position offers a 40-hour workweek and competitive benefits.

• Current Utah state license as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
• Board Certification as a Nurse Midwife.
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide CNM care in clinic and attend births.
• Round with mother/baby and antepartum patients in hospital.

Job description

Certified Nurse Midwife (Obstetrics/Gynecology)

As a Certified Nurse Midwife with Intermountain Health, you will join Southridge OB/GYN, supporting patients in our Riverton, Utah location. We are a group practice of 6 CNM's, 2 WHNP, 4 OBGYN Physicians, & 3 OB Hospitalist. Our midwives provide comprehensive health care for women, with a particular emphasis on wellness and patient choice. We support women in their childbirth decisions, whether it’s an unmedicated birth or epidural anesthesia. The CNM will provide care in clinic, attend births, and round with mother/baby and antepartum patients in hospital. Our CNMs work at the top of their scope of licensure, admitting, caring for, and discharging patients from inpatient care. As a group practice sharing patients, we work in a highly collaborative model, consulting and collaborating with one another on a consistent basis.

This is a full time position and will be fully benefits eligible. Schedule will include outpatient clinic, and rotating call taken in 24 hour shifts. Candidates with CNM experience and CNM New Graduates will be considered.
