Job summary

Mount Carmel, part of Trinity Health, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider for Cardiology for its walk-in Cardiology Clinic on the St. Ann's campus. Day shift, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities in primary and acute cardiology care.

The role requires an AP Practitioner with a Master’s degree, Ohio RN license, and APN/PA certification. BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM and PALS are required for certain departments.

Qualifications

• Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field; graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program.
• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in Ohio.
• Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the designated specialty; ANCC preferred.
• BLS provider certification required.
• ACLS, NRP, EFM and PALS required for some departments.
• Experienced APP - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary or acute healthcare services for specialty health conditions in accordance with scope and standards.
• Deliver care in the walk-in Cardiology Clinic on the St. Ann's campus.
• Collaborate with cardiology team to manage walk-in patients and urgent cases.

Position Purpose:

The Advanced Practice Specialty for Cardiology, provides primary or acute healthcare services for specialty health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

This position is for our walk-in Cardiology Clinic on the St. Ann's campus.

* Day shift, Monday through Friday

What we are looking for:

• Education: Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field. Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program.
• Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio
• Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required. American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is preferred
• BLS provider certification required
• ACLS, NRP, EFM and PALs required for some departments (see Exhibit A)
• We are looking for an experienced APP - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
